The HolidayPark Mlázovy Castle Guesthouse offers you comfortable accommodation in the *** category. We have prepared cozy, uniquely designed, and practically furnished studios and apartments for two, three, or four people. All ground floor apartments and studios have direct access to a private large and sunny terrace with garden furniture and a parasol, surrounded by greenery. Ground floor apartments and rooms are accessible directly from the courtyard through separate entrances. Upstairs rooms offer views of the pond and further into the park.
Culture
Mlázovy Castle is celebrating its 300th anniversary, and on this occasion, a new exhibition about the castle's history has been opened, along with the restored baroque black kitchen. Here, you can learn who was the best friend of writer Karel Poláček, why the local priest wore warm slippers all summer, and which of the castle's owners was involved in alchemy. Or discover what unusual animal the castle's builder had in his coat of arms.
Nature
You can visit the English park at Mlázovy Castle practically all year round. The park was established in the 18th century, and some trees are witnesses to its founding. The largest circumference belongs to the linden tree in the lower part of the park, measuring over 5 meters in length. Among the rare tree species, we have the Douglas fir and the Canadian hemlock. The most interesting tree you will find in the park is the cut-leaf oak (Quercus robur v. filicifolia), whose fringed leaves resemble ferns. In the castle park, you can play skittles in a unique hand-carved bowling alley or enjoy giant chess and checkers or Ludo in the courtyard.
